Tyla Announces The A*POP World Tour

Two-time Grammy-winning singer and songwriter Tyla is taking the next chapter of her global rise on the road with The A*POP World Tour, a 34-date international run supporting her sophomore studio album, A*POP.

Presented by Live Nation, the tour marks Tyla’s first full headline trek across Europe, the United Kingdom, North America and Africa. The run will begin Oct. 12 at Zenith Paris before traveling through cities including Amsterdam, London, Brussels, Berlin, Stockholm and Copenhagen.

The North American leg begins Nov. 12 at Hard Rock Live in Wheatland, California. Tyla will then bring the show to major markets including Vancouver, Seattle, Chicago, Boston, Toronto, Brooklyn, Washington, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

The tour will conclude with select African appearances in Lagos, Cape Town and Johannesburg across December and January.

Artist presale tickets will become available Wednesday, July 29, at 10 a.m. local time through Laylo. General ticket sales begin Friday, July 31, at 10 a.m. local time through Tyla’s official website.

A*POP Expands Tyla’s Global Vision

The tour follows the July 24 release of A*POP through FAX and Epic Records. Tyla’s official website presents the project as the latest evolution of her blend of pop, R&B and South African amapiano.

The 14-track album arrives after more than a year of anticipation and includes the singles “CHANEL,” “IS IT,” “SHE DID IT AGAIN” and “IS IT LOVE.”

Rather than confining the South African artist to a single genre or regional category, A*POP presents Tyla as a performer operating comfortably within a global pop landscape. The project draws from the musical languages that shaped her while allowing her to explore a wider range of contemporary sounds.

That expansion is reflected in the scale of the accompanying tour.

After building an international audience through festival appearances, award-show performances and her 2025 We Wanna Party Tour across Asia, Tyla will now carry a complete headline production through several of the world’s most influential music markets.

The 2025 Asian run included sold-out performances in Japan and the United Arab Emirates, according to the tour announcement.

A Major Release Weekend

Tyla supported the arrival of A*POP with a series of major televised and live appearances.

On release day, she performed at Rockefeller Plaza as part of NBC’s Today Citi Concert Series. Her set included “Water,” “Is It Love,” “That Girl” and “CHANEL.”

She also joined the program’s hosts for a conversation about the album and its international rollout while introducing viewers to her newly released Bratz doll.

One day later, Tyla performed during halftime of the 2026 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game in Chicago. Her halftime set included “CHANEL,” “Water” and “She Did It Again.” According to the album and tour announcement, the appearance made Tyla the first international artist to headline the WNBA All-Star Game halftime show during the event’s 30-year history.

The performance added another high-profile American stage to a growing list of career milestones for the Johannesburg-born artist.

From Water to a Wider Pop Landscape

Tyla’s international breakthrough accelerated in 2023 and 2024 through the success of “Water,” a record that introduced her pop-amapiano fusion to listeners around the world.

The song became a multiplatinum hit and helped Tyla secure her first GRAMMY Award. Her self-titled debut album and its expanded edition, TYLA+, continued that momentum and established her as one of the most visible African artists in contemporary pop.

The campaign produced another GRAMMY-winning hit with “Push 2 Start” and placed multiple tracks on Billboard’s U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.

Her debut also made her one of the highest-charting African female solo artists on the Billboard 200.

With A*POP, Tyla is attempting to move beyond the expectations created by an extraordinary breakout moment.

CHANEL” became one of the project’s early signature records, while “She Did It Again,” featuring Zara Larsson, leaned into a Y2K-inspired pop aesthetic. “Is It Love” continued her success within the U.S. Afrobeats market.

Tyla has also partnered with Vevo for an official live performance of “Is It Love,” with additional installments expected from the series.

A New Level of Global Headliner

The A*POP World Tour represents more than an album promotion cycle. It is a test of the international audience Tyla has built since “Water” transformed her career.

The routing reflects the scale of that audience. The tour connects established European music centers with North American theater and arena markets before bringing the production to African audiences in Nigeria and Tyla’s home country of South Africa.

For an artist whose music has consistently blended local identity with global ambition, the tour offers an opportunity to bring those worlds together onstage.

Presale registration is available through Laylo, with general ticket sales beginning July 31 through TylaWorld.com.
