Published by HarperCollins, the book will be released on December 28th and is now available to pre-order.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Illustrated by <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/kitt.thomas.art\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Kitt Thomas<\/strong><\/a><strong>, <em>Stacey\u2019s Extraordinary Words <\/em>will be based on Abrams&#8217; own childhood experiences competing in spelling bees. &#8220;Words have always been important to me. I loved competing in spelling bees as a young girl. With this book, I want to inspire children to speak up for themselves and for others\u2014and to keep trying if they don&#8217;t succeed the first time around,&#8221; Abrams said in a statement to <em>Forbes<\/em> earlier this year.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/E-xLdIYXIAYFrkO?format=jpg&amp;name=large\" alt=\"Image\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The synopsis for the book reads:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cStacey is a little girl who loves words more than anything. She loves reading them, sounding them out, and finding comfort in them when things are hard.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>But when her teacher chooses her to compete in the local spelling bee, she isn\u2019t as excited as she thought she\u2019d be. What if she messes up?
