23-year-old poet Amanda Gorman, who made history as the youngest inaugural poet, will join Oprah Winfrey in conversation this Friday for \u201cThe Oprah Conversation\u201d on Apple TV Plus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Hill We Climb,\u201d the touching poem that Gorman recited during Biden\u2019s inauguration, will be discussed. She\u2019ll speak about the creative process behind the poem, and share childhood stories that molded her into who she is today. To commemorate Women\u2019s History Month, they will discuss inspirational women who have inspired Gorman to follow her dreams as a poet.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAmanda Gorman is a young woman who stepped into a moment in history with enormous grace and dignity,\u201d Winfrey said in a statement for Variety<\/a>. \u201cI was enthralled by her youthful spirit from the first moment we met, and very much looked forward to hearing her unpack all that has happened to her the past few months.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previous guests on \u201cThe Oprah Conversation\u201d include Stevie Wonder, Barack Obama, Professor Ibram X. Kendi, and Bryan Stevenson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
