Executively produced by Lena Waithe and created by Little Marvin, the limited series explores racism and terror in 1950s America.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">When a Black family moves from North Carolina to an all-white Los Angeles neighborhood during the Great Migration, the family\u2019s dream house and hopeful new start is severely sabotaged by the neighborhood and sinister, otherworldly forces who threaten to destroy them.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">As many have pointed out, the trailer is reminiscent of Netflix\u2019s <em>His House<\/em>, but there are notable differences in the narrative of the series. Arguably, the most disturbing scene in the preview is when numerous Black dolls are hanging from the house, lynched. There\u2019s a precocious daughter who senses all of the evil within the home. There\u2019s Black face and all of the overt racism of the 1950s. Truly, it is an absolutely terrifying trailer, and it shows the resilience of the Black family who puts up a fight for what is rightfully theirs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><em>THEM <\/em>stars Ashley Thomas, Deborah Ayorinde, Alison Pill, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Ryan Kwanten, and Melody Herd. It is a co-production from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon Studios.
