It\u2019s been eleven years since the end of the popular sitcom <\/b>Girlfriends<\/i><\/b>, but the lovable cast is finally reuniting in the sixth season of <\/b>black-ish<\/i><\/b>.<\/b><\/p>\n

On Thursday, September 12th, Tracee Ellis Ross excitedly announced on Instagram the reunion news that we’ve all been waiting for.\u00a0“So we have an extra special episode of\u00a0black-ish.\u00a0<\/em>It’s a feminist episode, so I brought in some back-up from some of my girlfriends,” she said as she revealed her former Girlfriend<\/em>s co-stars, all appearing to be equally as enthusiastic about reuniting.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

GIRLFRIENDS X BLACKISH ~ @therealgolden47 @misspersiawhite @itsmejillmarie @blackishabc my giiiiirlfriends are guest starring on #blackish tuesday, october 8! we haven\u2019t all been together on camera since 2006. these are women i grew up with and love deeply and it was easy tap back into the magic of our chemistry and how much we love each other. it was giggles on top of giggles on top of giggles. girlfriends ran for 8 years and was important to so many people. being able to merge the worlds of @blackishabc and girlfriends was surreal for me and so much fun.<\/a><\/p>\n
