The book brings buried family secrets to the surface, without the approval of the siblings that she exposes. Will Nova create irrevocable damage within the Bordelon family, or will she somehow be able to repair her relationships with her siblings? <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>In other news, Darla (Bianca Lawson) appears to have been given a second chance for love, with glimpses of her and a mysterious man, who we cannot wait to become acquainted with. Yet, he\u2019s certainly got big shoes to fill\u2013as Ralph Angel is, essentially, the archetype of a dream man. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>According to OWN\u2019s description of the new season, we\u2019ll be introduced to a few new characters, but the identity of Darla\u2019s new love interest has yet to be revealed. Erica Tazel will play Deesha Brown-Sonnier, who is an attorney and a \u201csocially conscious neighbor.\u201d In her TV debut, Kendall Clark will portray Joie, the daughter of Deesha. She\u2019s described as a \u201cbright and self-confident tomboy,\u201d who becomes friends with Blue.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>The fourth season will continue the series\u2019 all-female directing team, which was a \u201ccreative initiative\u201d put in place by the show\u2019s creator, Ava DuVernay. Directors will include Cheryl Dunye, Heidi Saman, Bola Ogun, Tchaiko Omawale, Numa Perrier, and Carmen Marr\u00f3n.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><i>\u201cQueen Sugar\u201d will premiere on OWN, Wednesday, June 12th at 9 p.m. ET.
