This year, fans can expect an exciting revival of the classic 1950s sci-fi series <\/b>The Twilight Zone <\/i><\/b>from Oscar-winning producer and director Jordan Peele. The highly anticipated show<\/b> will premiere as part of the CBS All-Access streaming program, and Peele will host and narrate the series as well. Simon Kinberg, best known as the writer for <\/b>Mr. & Mrs. Smith<\/i><\/b> and <\/b>Sherlock Holmes<\/i><\/b>, will also executive produce. <\/b><\/p>\n
Deadline<\/b><\/a> reports that Jessica Williams and DeWanda Wise have been the latest to join the series, starring in an episode that features Jefferson White, Jonathan Whitesell, and Lucinda Dryzek. <\/b><\/p>\n So far, it has been announced that Sanaa Lathan, John Cho, Kumail Nanjiani, Adam Scott, and others have joined the anthology series. There\u2019s little known about the upcoming storylines, but <\/b>Vanity Fair<\/b><\/a> reveals that Sanaa Lathan will star in an episode titled \u201cRewind,\u201d which is speculated to be based on an episode from the original series, where a gambler uses a magical tape recorder to go back in time. <\/b><\/p>\n While this isn\u2019t the first <\/b>Twilight Zone <\/i><\/b>reboot, it is arguably the most anticipated since the work behind Jordan Peele\u2019s name is already gaining legendary status. The stakes are high, but Peele\u2019s mastermind has yet to fail us\u2013and <\/b>The Twilight Zone<\/i><\/b> is a flawless fit for the <\/b>Get Out <\/i><\/b>and<\/b> Us <\/i><\/b>director. <\/b><\/p>\n Back in September, a teaser trailer was released for the reboot, and although it revealed next to nothing, we <\/b>were<\/i><\/b> able to hear a sneak peek of Peele\u2019s narration. \u00a0Hopefully, we\u2019ll receive a proper trailer and an official release date in the near future!
