According to <a href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/music\/2018\/03\/27\/spotify-black-history-is-happening-now\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EW<\/a>, the music-streaming service is debuting a Black History Is Happening Now hub, which will highlight creatives and organizations that will work together to \u201cimpart change and spread diversity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Each month, Spotify will introduce a different curator, starting with Janelle Mon\u00e1e, who will be in charge of creating playlists, starting important conversations, and bringing in other material for the hub.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am thrilled to be teaming up with Spotify to help kick off an important new initiative celebrating black history and culture through Black History is Happening Now,\u201d Mon\u00e1e exclaimed to EW. \u201cI\u2019ve always been excited and inspired to try to redefine how we\u2019re seen. It\u2019s important to me to celebrate black history year round and with Spotify\u2019s commitment to honoring the black community all year long and showcasing artists and organizations who are dedicated to imparting change. I felt it was the perfect platform to share my story of Afrofuturism and express my vision and creative ideas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mon\u00e1e\u2019s takeover, <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/view\/blackhistorymonth-page?utm_source=pr&amp;utm_campaign=2018q1_ucanz_us_brandbuilding_bhihn&amp;utm_medium=allcontent&amp;gtm=1&amp;fo=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Make You Feel<\/a>, is happening now on Spotify.
