JaroGO Child Safety Policy

At JaroGO, we are committed to fostering a safe and responsible online environment, especially for children and young users. As a U.S.-based platform that hosts user-generated content, live streams, messaging, and marketplace activities, we take child safety seriously and strive to comply with all applicable laws and best practices, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other relevant U.S. legislation.

1. Age Restrictions

JaroGO is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account or access core features of the app, including posting, commenting, live streaming, and participating in the marketplace. Users between 13 and 18 years of age must have parental consent to use the platform.

We reserve the right to remove or suspend accounts that violate this policy.

2. Content Moderation and Detection

We have frameworks in place to curb inappropriate or exploitative content and are continuously improving them. Our current measures include:

• Community reporting features that allow users to flag inappropriate content or behavior.
• Manual moderation workflows that review flagged or sensitive content before further exposure.
• Terms of Service enforcement, including content takedowns and user suspensions for violations.

We acknowledge the need for more advanced safeguards and plan to implement the following in the near future:

• AI-powered detection tools to help identify and flag potentially harmful or exploitative content.
• Hash-matching technologies (e.g., PhotoDNA) to detect known Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
• Dedicated moderation teams to proactively monitor and manage user content and behavior.
• Restricted visibility settings to minimize exposure and discovery of underage users.

3. Marketplace Protections

Minors are prohibited from creating stores or selling products on the JaroGO marketplace. All store creators must undergo a manual approval process, and we may request government-issued ID or business verification documents where necessary.

Any listings that appear misleading, age-inappropriate, or exploitative in nature will be reviewed and removed as per our Marketplace Governance Policy.

4. Data Collection and Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Any account found to be in violation of our age policy will be promptly deleted along with associated data.

For users aged 13 to 17, we limit data collection to only what is necessary to operate the app, and we do not serve targeted advertising to these users.

5. Reporting Abuse or Concerns

If you suspect a child is being exploited or have concerns regarding any user or content on the platform, please report it immediately using the in-app reporting tools or contact our team directly at:

6. Law Enforcement Cooperation
